The 54th edition of the Pointe Claire Oldtimers Hockey Tournament will start on Monday, April 15th and end with division finals on Sunday, April 21. This year we have 84 teams consisting of players from the age of 35 to early 80’s. There are games going on in both rinks from Monday to Thursday from 3:00 to 10:00 and Friday and Saturday 8:30 to 10:00. Finals are on Sunday from 8:00 to 4:00.
Whether you play hockey or not, we invite you to come and join the festivities in the big tent in the arena parking lot. Thursday night is country music night. There will be some live acoustic music starting at 6:00 followed by country dancing music. (line dancing is encouraged)
Catch some great local bands on Friday and Saturday starting at 6:00. These bands were fantastic last year and the atmosphere in the tent was electric.
Come to the games or the parties and help us out by buying a hot dog, beer or a raffle ticket. All the proceeds raised from the tournament are donated to local charities.
This year we are dedicating our tournament to long-time PCOT member Dave Fuller who passed away this summer. It takes more than 150 volunteers to run this event and Dave was front and center for twenty years.
The tournament and all the surrounding activities take place at the Bob Birnie Arena (58 Maywood Ave.) in Pointe Claire.
